Comfort? Like riding a cloud, a heated seat cloud. Yesterday we did from Barre to Rod & Gun including most all side trails. This morning my son, my granddaughter & my brother-in-law were all complaining of aches & pains but I felt great!
Can hardly feel bumps that would kill me on my '97 Ultra.
And maybe it'll loosen up a little more for speed after a while as it only has 300 miles on it - not even broke in.
Performance from 0 - 60 is very acceptable - reminds me of my Powerstroke Fords, they'll pull anything but won't win any high speed races.
Quick story, I own 2007 F6 and I bought my wife a 2008 F570 fan. Both are the new chassie like your sled. My wife has not ridden yet this year, but Saturday I took her to Dennison up to NH, all through the snowmoles trails, into Little Monadnock family trails, and back again. We did a total of 83 miles. Now Dennison was in good shape, but the Monadnock trails were a bit bumpy, nothing real bad, but bumpy. My wife works a desk job, and at home typically enjoys reading, crafts and staying in the house. Now I expected that after 30 miles or so, she would be ready to go home especially after riding bumpy trails in NH, but honest as I am typing here, after our friends left us Saturday, my wife asked me to do a bit more riding in the park before we went home. We rode non-stop from 8:30am to about 4:15pm with about a 1 hour lunch, and today she feels great. These CAT sleds, may not be the fastest, and may have some minor issues here and there, but if she was on any other sled, there is no way she would have done the miles she did, and if she had, she would have been sore today. It is not unlike me, every weekend I ride both days. Saturday and Sunday. And most times I will do at least 100 miles each day, and not feel tired for the next ride or for work on Monday. Sometime I ride crap, rocks, bumps, hills, washouts and even with that the sled soaks up the bumps. I love these sleds for comfort, and dont worry, that 4 stoke you have will go faster after its 1st oil change and set of plugs. I would change the oil and plugs at 1000 miles, and see how you feel after that. Check you belt deflection and your track tension at 1000 miles, and I guarantee you will see an increase in overall speed and torque. That is typical with a 4 stroke. Its needs to be broken in. Follow the manual on break in procedure, it is critical to break in an engine the right way. Good luck and enjoy your new sled, you will ride way more miles in many more condtions than anyone else you know because with that sled you can do it without feeling the pain that everyone else would feel. I love CATS just for that. Wait until a friend someday buys a new skidoo, or polaris and you try it out, yes that skidoo will be faster, but your sled is unbeatable for the overall ride. Sorry so long winded, by that is my review after riding my F6 for 3500 miles in 2.5 years.
